Our 2020/21 full day coverage starts at $4500
Your story unravels throughout the day and we want to be there to capture all of the important moments. From the last flick of a make-up brush in the morning to when that dance floor opens – those things you’ve spent months planning – they deserve to be remembered. All of it becomes the story of your day and this is why we think its important to provide a ‘full day’s coverage’ in our wedding package. Our wedding package also includes two photographers, this leaves you with a complete set of images from multiple points of view.

Our portrait sessions start at $400
Life changes so quickly, every age and stage is only for so long and as parents ourselves we understand this first hand. You’ll never regret a family photo. Being able to look back and reflect on what was and how far you’ve come, they really are an everlasting treasure. It’s one of our greatest honors to be able to capture something so special for the families we work with.
Our portrait sessions are very flexible and mold to each families vision. We capture pregnant belly’s, tiny newborns, wild families and everything in between. For more information on each of these visit the link below.

Engagements
Our engagement sessions start at $400
An engagement session is a perfect practice run for your photos on the big day. It gives you the chance to get familiar with how us as photographers work and what its like to be in front of the camera. The best part is you receive some beautiful natural photos of the two of you. We also love it when our couples choose the location, we encourage finding a spot that’s special to you as a couple. Whether it’s a beach you go to each summer, a cafe you went on your first date or even at your first home together. Of course, if nothing comes to mind, we’ll do the thinking for you!

Arie and Tash are the only wedding photographers out there as far as we’re concerned. Not only do they ooze talent and produce incredible works of art, but they are both beautiful people inside and out, bring a super chilled vibe making us feel at ease immediately. We can’t thank Arie & Tash enough for their amazing photography at our wedding. We absolutely loved our photos, and they were awesome people to have alongside us on our big day. What we liked the most about these guys was how easy they made this aspect of the wedding. Right from booking, to the engagement shoot (super handy) to sending us our photos, everything was seamless. Both Arie & Tash were really approachable and accommodating regarding any ideas we might have or what we wanted, which meant our wedding photos ended up feeling very “us”. We also appreciated that there were no hidden fees or extras in their packages. We loved every minute of having Black Robin as our wedding photographers.

Where are you based and do you travel?
We are based in Hamilton and yes! we love to travel, we do as many weddings in the BOP, Taupo and Auckland as we do in the Waikato, so send us a message and we can chat about travel costs.
Can we meet you before booking?
Absolutely! As much as our work, you need to like us too! We’ll be with you for most of the day after all. So let’s catch up for a coffee (or set up a skype meeting if you aren’t close) and we can all get to know each other a little more!
How many photos do we receive?
Each wedding or portrait shoot is different and we don’t shoot to achieve a set amount, we just give you all of the shots we believe tell your story. However on average you can expect to receive around 70 photos per hour of shooting.
How will I receive my photographs?
We deliver our photos via an online album and all of the photos are uploaded in full resolution. From the site you can view your images, share directly to social media and email. You can also download either one photo at a time or the full album at once in both low and full resolution. Our wedding clients also receive our signature print box, this includes a USB drive and 50 4×6 prints of your choice.
When will I receive my photographs?
We aim to make the wait as short as we can, usually we share a few teaser photos within the first week, your full album is usually ready to view within 4-8 weeks of your wedding. USB drives, prints and albums will be a further 2-6 weeks after ordering.
What is required to book you?
Once you’ve decided we’re the photographers for you. We put you into our studio software which will set you up with a online dashboard. On there you’ll find your contract, questionnaires and invoice. Once the contract is signed, booking questionnaire is completed and your deposit is paid($500 for weddings), you’re all locked in.
Can we print our photos?
Heck yes! We’ll give you all the images that tell your story in full resolution and 300DPI, ready to take to your preferred print shop and print as big and as much as you like.
Do you do engagement shoots?
Yes, in fact we think they’re such a good idea, we even do them complimentary for our clients. It’s a great practise run for your wedding day and a way to get use to being in front of the camera. You get to see how we work and the sort of direction we will give you. A chance to get to know us better and you get some sweet photos out of it too (perfect for save the date cards!)
